We sat down with Polo Player Juan Bollini and talked about his passion
Juan is one of the youngest top players in polo and a proud brand ambassador for U.S Polo Assn., the iconic, multi-billion-dollar lifestyle brand, and the official brand of the United States Polo Association.
Juan Bollini was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His father is a professional polo player and introduced him to the sport of polo when he was 12 years old. At age 15, Juan moved to the U.S. where he continued playing polo, turning pro after one year.

How did you get started in polo? Did you always wanted to become a professional polo player?
I started playing polo when I was young because my dad was a professional. I always thought I would be a professional although I have other interests.
What sort of physical training do you go through?
I do 30 min of cardio with 30/45 of weight training
How do you prepare before a match?
The preparation I do is mainly focused on the horses. Once that is organized I relax.

What is your personal insider’s tip for striking the perfect hit?
Strike as if you were hitting an iron in golf:
straight down, the rest will follow.
What do you enjoy about polo?
I enjoy the outdoors lifestyle and the horses.
You’ve partnered with U.S. Polo Assn. and are the Ambassador for the lifestyle brand, what does this role mean to you?
It means a great deal to me to be the one representing the sport of polo in the United States. Whether it be by promoting the U.S. Polo Assn. brand through photos and events or on the field, I think it’s a great honor and a privilege.
What advice do you have for the next generation, particularly for those hoping to follow in your footsteps as a polo player?
Open your mind to other things that will help achieve your goals within the sport.
