Winter is in full swing and the final two months of the year are all about looking your best for all those Christmas parties. From face masks to brighten your face like the sparkles you’re wearing, to concealer to hide those late night shenanigans from work colleagues the next morning, here are the 2022 beauty releases that I’m loving this party season.

Tatcha Violet C Mask – £65 from Tatcha

Tatcha’s new brightening and refining season will leave you glowing for all your festive celebrations. This pure Vitamin C cream mask brightens, stimulates collagen production and reduces hyperpigmentation. Plus, it contains Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and some AHAs for gentle exfoliation of the skin to leave it radiant and dewy.

Olverum Body Cleanser – £26.50 from Olverum

If you’re not already aware of Olverum’s cult bath oil, where have you been all these years? It’s scent is a relaxing and invigorating botanical aromatherapy blend, and now they’ve brought out a body cleanser to match too. It focusses on protecting and fortifying the skin barrier. This Vegan cleanser has 90% natural ingredients and it’s made from recycled plastics. Perfect to calm you and stimulate your senses before a stressful day at work, or ideal to ease tension and help you wind down after a long day.

CurrentBody Dr Harris Sleep Mask – £59.99 from CurrentBody

This mulberry silk eye mask has been created in partnership with aesthetics doctor, Dr Harris. It’s silk fabric is gentle on the skin and help prevent lines and wrinkles in the eye area, whilst its black colour helps to block out light as you sleep. The most important feature of this eye mask however, is the silicone pressure point dot on its skin side. Much resembling the rubber dots on the bottom of non-slip socks, these little patches stimulate your mechanoreceptors (tiny little nerve endings in your face) to aid relaxation, and they gently grip your skin to prevent the underlying muscles from contracting, to minimise sleep creases in this area.

Dolce & Gabbana Solar Glow Illuminating Powder Duo Sweet Pink – £55 from Flannels Beauty

These powder duos from D&G Beauty have been around for some time, but Sweet Pink is the shade duo that was new this summer. It includes a champagne-toned highlighting powder and a baby pink powder blush. The formula of these are really beautiful – they are glowy, they blend very well and look very natural, and they don’t look too powdery, due to the skin-conditioning butters in the formula.

REN Evercalm Barrier Support Elixir – £44 from REN Skincare

This new oil from REN is glorious on the face and on cuticles. It’s part of the Evercalm range, so is designed for people with stressed complexions and compromised skin barriers; but anyone can use it for an extra boost for barrier health. It will tackle and greatly improve the 7 signs of sensitive skin in just 7 days. It will moisturise, soothe and calm, strengthen the skin barrier, and look after your skin’s microbiome. The oil is very lightweight, non-greasy, fragrance-free and is Vegan.

Garnier SkinActive Hyaluronic Aloe Replumping Super Serum – £11.99 from Boots

This high-street Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera & Glycerin serum is a great budget hydrating serum option. It’s hydrating and soothing and a joy to use, due to its beautiful fresh fragrance and your skin’s ability to just immediately drink it in. It is slightly tacky to touch, but this dissipates quickly and leaves a soft, plump finish. I have been so impressed with this brand and it’s one of my high-street favourites. You can literally lather on as much of this serum as you need, as often as you need, without worrying about the cost. It really leaves your skin looking plump, glowy and healthy.

Gisou Honey-Infused Beauty Balm – £29 from Gisou

This is probably my favourite launch of the summer and it’s a real multi-tasking gem. For everything from sunburn to cuticle conditioning, this balm does it all, and will soften, condition and nourish the skin to leave it looking glowy, moisturised and healthy. My main use for this is on my cuticles and it has totally transformed them. I also burnt my forehead from sitting for too long in the sun, and lathering this on to the area for a few days afterwards really kept the skin conditioned and stopped it peeling. You could also use it on dry elbows or dab it on your cheekbones for a natural highlight. Its formula is 99% natural and its star ingredient is Gisou’s famous Mirsalehi Bee Garden Honey that nourishes, softens and soothes.

MZ Skin Volumising Lip Perfector – £29 from MZ Skin

This lip gloss is absolute perfection – from its curved doe-foot applicator that hugs the lips, to its minty-fresh tingle as it plumps. It comes in just one shade – a pale pink, which would vary from pale pink on light skin tones, to nude on darker skin tones – very much mirroring natural healthy lip colours. The gloss is high-shine and not at all sticky, and the feel is a minty tingle as it plumps and fills out fine lines. A 2% sodium hyaluronate complex instantly hydrates and softens chapped lips to help your lips to look and feel their best. This would look glorious on everyone.

Beauty Pie YouthBomb 360 Radiance Concentrate – £44 (for members) from Beauty Pie

Created in partnership with a Consultant Dermatologist, this is one of Beauty Pie’s most scientifically advanced launches. If you liked their Japanfusion Elixir, you’ll love this. It has the same lifting and plumping effect but really takes it way further. It lifts and firms, hydrates and plumps, adds a dewy glow, protects, resurfaces and brightens all at the same time! Like the Japanfusion Elixir, it instantly transforms skin, but it also improves the look and feel of your skin over time too; really tackling hyperpigmentation and the signs of ageing if you use is daily. Add this as a staple to your morning routine and you’ll be amazed at the results.
