Jeweller Boodles has partnered with garden designer Tom Hoblyn to create ‘The Secret Garden’ at the upcoming RHS Chelsea Flower Show this September 21st – 26th
To celebrate its involvement with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Boodles has extended its much-loved Secret Garden collection. The collection was originally created to mark the release of ‘The Secret Garden’ film by Sky in 2020 and has now formed the inspiration behind the design of Boodles’ inaugural Chelsea garden.
“It has been a long-held dream to take part in Chelsea” says Boodles Director James Amos. “And to have the chance to introduce Boodles to the show when it takes place in autumn for the first time ever, makes it even more exciting.”
The Boodles ‘Secret Garden’ will be situated on the corner of Main Avenue and Pavilion Way
– a key marker-point for the show. Expect to see naturalistic planting with hints of Boodles pink in the inner beds, and a variety of plant and shrubs linking directly to the film. You will then be enticed through an intricately carved, louvred oak wall beyond which lies a secret garden brimming with jewel like plants, set against a backdrop of the foil of yew hedge and stone foil.
A combination of British craftmanship and contemporary design are central to Boodles’ jewellery collections, and this has been the driving force behind Tom Hoblyn’s garden design. Worth noting also, the wood for the partition has been sustainability sourced from a tree that had been cut down for the HS2 project at Euston – it will move to Boodles Sloane Street as a permanent feature after the show.
